Love isn't the
"lesser evil" that you only appreciate when you experience greater
evil. Love & goodness can stand alone. Light does not need darkness.
Do I need to harm my
child or expose her to evil things in order for her to appreciate my love &
affection? Of course not. Love is good, & obviously good, regardless of if
there is evil.
